Mária Žuffová holds a PhD in Politics from the School of Government and Public Policy – the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and an MA in Public Policy with the specialisation in Media, Information and Communications Policy from Central European University in Budapest. Her research interests sit at the intersection of political communication and comparative politics. Substantively, she is interested in topics such as social and political impacts of digital technologies, government transparency, the right of access to government information, press-state relations, and media freedom. Besides academia, she worked with civil society organisations in the area of impact evaluations.
