Alina Ostling holds a PhD from the European University Institute (EUI) and a Master of Science in Business and Economics from Uppsala University (Sweden).
She has a strong professional background in democratic governance, (digital) media and development. Alina’s experience includes coordinating project in the field of governance at UNDP Belarus; working as evaluator in the framework of Horizon2020 (European Commission), and assessing the impact of the web for the World Wide Web Foundation’s Index. In addition to her academic expertise, Alina has a long experience in providing research, evaluation and policy support to international organizations (UNDP, UNICEF, OSCE/ODIHR) and civil society organizations (Transparency International, Open Government Partnership).
