On 12 October 2022 our Director Pier Luigi Parcu and Scientific Coordinator Elda Brogi will take part in the event “The state of media freedom and pluralism across the EU”.
During the event, Prof Parcu and Prof Brogi will discuss the findings of the Media Pluralism Monitor 2022, the yearly report published by the Centre for Media Pluralism and Media Freedom that highlights the risks for media pluralism in the EU27 and candidate countries.
The event is co-organised by the Centre for Media Pluralism and Media Freedom, David Casa (MEP, European People’s Party), Massimiliano Smeriglio (MEP, Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament) and Ramona Strugariu (MEP, Renew Europe Group). It will take place at the European Parliament premises in Brussels.
