Biography

Giulia Giannasi is the Communications Officer at the Robert Schuman Centre, where she provides communication support to the Centre for a Digital Society and the Centre for Media Pluralism and Freedom.

She has extensive experience in communication and dissemination of EU-funded projects focusing on topics such as gender equality, transferable skills in academia, responsible research and innovation, and science communication.

She has also coordinated communication activities for Voices – the European Festival of Journalism and Media Literacy. Prior to joining the Schuman Centre, she worked for the European Science Foundation in Strasbourg, for the EUI’s School of Transnational Governance and as a freelance consultant.

Giulia has a background in East Asian Studies (University “La Sapienza” of Rome) and Political Sciences (University of Bologna).
