Biography

Giovanni Melogli is the President of EMI (European Media Initiative) and coordinator of Voices – The European Festival of Journalism and Media Literacy.

Promoter and spokesperson of the European Citizens’ Initiative for Media Pluralism. Member of the Alliance Internationale de Journalistes Administration Council and coordinator of the EU branch.

Expert in EU audiovisual and media policies, and member of the European Commission Media Literacy Expert Group. Co-author of the book: Le carceri segrete della CIA in Europa (Secret CIA Prisons in Europe), with Giulietto Chiesa and Francesco Decarlo.
