The CMPF will organise the Europe Regional Forum for this year’s UNESCO World Press Freedom Day. The occasion of World Press Freedom Day this year is a celebration of 30 years of the Windhoek Declaration, a benchmark for ensuring press freedom around the world. The Europe Regional Forum will explore the risks for pluralism and democracy in the new media and information ecosystem in Europe over two morning sessions.
Speakers at this year’s Europe Regional Forum will include, European Commission Vice President, Věra Jourová and Freedom of the Media Representative at OSCE, Teresa Ribeiro.
