Media Pluralism Monitor 2015: Stakeholders Meeting - Czech Republic

On January 5, Václav Štětka from Charles University in Prague presented the selected results of the 2015MPM project to the members of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture, Human Rights and Petitions of the Czech Senate, the Upper Chamber of the Czech Parliament. The presentation highlighted the preliminary MPM results for the Czech Republic, placing them in the context of the other countries which were part of the project last year. The senators expressed great interest in the study and offered valuable feedback on the relevance and validity of some of the indicators. The meeting was also attended by some of the experts which took part in the evaluation of the data gathered by the local team, and representatives of several regulatory bodies and other stakeholders, including the Czech Broadcasting Council and the Ministry of Culture.
